SABC2 and WORD OF MOUTH PICTURES are delighted to announce that well known Theatre and TV actor Siyabonga Twala and actress Zikhona Sodlaka have joined the cast of Muvhango for season fourteen. Both actors are set to appear as Husband and wife, entering the business world already dominated by the Mukwevhos and the Mulaudzis.

The formidable Siyabonga Twala will play the role of Busani Mojalefa whilst Sodlaka will play the role of his wife Joyce Mojalefa. Twala is one of the most sought after actors in the country and most respected in the Television and Stage profession. He has starred in amongst others Scandal, Generations and a variety of Theatre plays. Recently he appeared in the new Telenovela for a Pay-TV channel.

Zikhona Sodlaka has featured in a SAFTA winning drama series SOUL CITY 10, A Place called Home, Tsha Tsha and Ryhthm City to name a few. She has also landed acting roles in feature films such as JURY DIVIDED, SKEEM and MR MOB a French feature.


These multi-talented actors bring a wealth of experience and much chemistry to the ensemble cast, said Muvhango Publicist, Kgalema Eugene Mametse.

The two actors have already started shooting with the production and will debut in June 2013.

Chief Keef Shocking Lyrics

Just days after Reebok dumped Rick Ross due to lyrics bragging about drug-induced date rape, Interscope artist, Chief Keef dropped a record threatening to kill a woman if she doesn’t perform oral sex.

“You aint gonna let me f*ck and I feel you, but you gone suck my d*ck or I’ll kill you,” Keef raps.

Kevin Hart: DUI arrest a 'wake-up' call

Comedian and actor Kevin Hart says he'll straighten up his act. And he's not being funny.

Los Angeles traffic police arrested the stand-up comic on "suspicion" of drunken driving early Sunday.

They observed him speeding down a freeway at 90 mph in his black Mercedes, weaving across traffic lanes and almost running into a gas tanker truck, the California Highway Patrol said in a statement.

When patrol officers pursued him, he took an off ramp and pulled over, police said.

"Mr. Hart had objective signs of intoxication and was unable to perform the field sobriety tests," the statement read.

The comedian later tweeted: "When the cop asked me to take the sobriety test I said 'WHY WASTE OUR TIME ... I'M DRUNK MAN.'"

Police booked him into jail and held him on a $5,000 bond.

"This is a wake up call for me, I have to be smarter & last night I wasn't ... everything happens for a reason," he tweeted Sunday.

In a stand-up routine in his 2011 movie "Laugh At My Pain," Hart lampooned his father's alleged embarrassing behavior due to a drug addiction.

But he does not make light of his own intoxicated behavior.

"Drinking & driving is not a game or a laughing matter. People have lost lives because of stupid ... this!," he said on his verified Twitter account.

Hart has been in various movies, including "Think Like a Man" and "The Five-Year Engagement." He's also appeared in television shows, including "Modern Family."

Top TV Closes Two Channels

TopTV has announced that it will discontinue its Top Movies +24 and Top Junior channels from Wednesday.

“TopTV regrets the timing of this change to its channel make-up, but due to operational reasons, it has become necessary to prepare for a proposed new channel structure,” it said in a statement on Tuesday.

TopTV said it was in negotiations with a prospective investor, and that it expected to make details of the deal public in the coming weeks.

Rick Ross Releases Statement Apologizing For Rape Line

After much criticism and pressure, Reebok deaded their partnership with Rick Ross thursday over the rape line used in Rocko's hit "U.O.E.N.O." Today, Ross responded to being dropped by releasing an official statement. 

In that statement, Ross gives the apology that many people have been waiting for. 

(He said sorry twice before, but both apologies were seen as hollow.)

Meet Jay

We always bring you the hottest on the scene faces, Jay Reeferson is no different. This young and talented Hip hop star brings all the excitement and entertainment.

Japhta J. Mahlangu, better know by his stage name, Jay Reeferson is a South African native rapper from Bronkhorstspruit in the Gauteng province. This 19 year old rapper started recording his own material in 2010, with a music production called Koolest Inc. He was then introduced to Eazy Beez Entertainment in 2011, which is where he is currently recording his material.

Jay Reeferson is formally known to be a versatile artist that uses vernacular lyrics as well as English, to supplement his talent for different types of fans, making sure he captures every ear his music passes through. He also parts in a rap duo called SLAY (SliQ G and Jay Reeferson), which was formed in 2009 and is still currently making waves in Hip Hop through it's Underground-Rap material. They released a mixtape called Stunt Double in 2012, with singles like 100 Hunnit, Twisted (Prod. By Jay Reeferson), and Overdose. They'll be releasing a mixtape again in late 2013 called SLAY Train.

Reeferson as an individual has been working hard enough to bless his fans with a mixtape of his own in 2013. The artist has already dropped two singles from his up coming mixtape Son Of A Ganja, titled Khululeka  (Prod. by Razor' Rich) as the first single. Now he recently dropped Son Of A Ganja (Feat. Bertrum) which was produced by Bertrum himself. Both singles are still putting heat in the streets, getting a positive response from the fans that they are now anticipated for the mixtape to drop.

He has also worked with Eazy Beez artists like Taye, Bertrum, Renegade and his own partner SliQ G. The mixtape will be dropping in mid-June through Easy Beez Entertainment.

Jay Reeferson's single received much air play on radio stations such as, TUTFM on the Network Show hosted by Lindokuhle Mnisi, he also got to be interviewed on the same show.

Few Radio shows been circulating his show on their playlist, stations like Ujfm, Uctradio from Capetown, Uptosqratch show on Bakgatradio and and on an international online station wehustle365iradio.

Ciara wore her feelings on her sleeve for an interview about rapper Future and the issues between she and Rihanna.  Find out what she said inside and see Rihanna’s “shady” response…. Sip on this.

A few days ago, Ciara chatted with The Qdeezy Show on Philly’s Hot 107.9 where she discussed the making of One Woman Army, but most importantly, she opened up about rapper Future and the issues with Rihanna.  It was a rare moment of “openness” from the famously private singer. Here are the highlights:

On why she’s finally being open about her life/relationships:

Relationship wise, I use to be really private and protective over a lot of stuff and I feel like now, it’s like why be afraid? Live your life. Somebody is going to judge you, no matter what, one way or another so just live your life and be comfortable in it.

On meeting Future and how they began dating:

We actually met working at first and our relationship was very organic. He is an amazing guy. Like, he is really a gentleman and I don’t want to say too much and then he’s like, ‘Babe, you’re saying a whole lot,’ but he really is just an amazing man. It’s like when we were working on the personal side of things, I really saw an amazing person and the way that he approached me since day one is just the way a man is supposed to be from my perspective.

It just really organically happened that way. I didn’t expect anything to come from us working together. I didn’t even know what to expect from going into the studio with him and then we began to meet each other and everything just began to flow. He is really cool, like he is my friend too. So I felt something really unique from the beginning and then it just organically went this way.

On what she likes about Future:

I think it was a collection of things [but] I’m going to try and keep this really short. He is just a true gentleman like whether it’s just naturally opening the door for you or like…. I never had to ask him to do that. I hope he doesn’t kill me but just little things like he pays attention to the things you say. And then he and I are both Scorpios, so we share a lot of things [in common] and so when we are having conversations, a lot of things were really clicking and I’m like ‘Yo!’ I just felt it.

I can’t even explain everything but it was a combination of things because it can’t just be one day, great conversation and then boom, like it was a series of events and experiences with a person. And again, it’s the small things that really matter. […] When people ask me what I like, I say ‘I like a guy that can be tough on the outside but they have to have a heart on the inside’ and the one thing you’ll know about him is that he has a heart and he is just super cool.

On her relationship with Rihanna:

There is no relationship…

On if she has an issue with Rihanna:

If something is supposed to happen, it’ll happen. But even when it pertains to her I never had an issue with her. So I don’t know what it is, I can’t figure it out. I guess I don’t care to figure it out. But I always came from a place of love and support for her ever since we hung out a little bit, or whatever it is. So she’s on whatever she’s on, and it is what it is.

 And in response, Rihanna threw some SHADE.  Shortly after the interview went viral, Rihanna responded to a NAVY fan who posted a photo about the interview.
