During the MTN SAMAs at Sun City on 29 and 30 April 2012, an upmarket lifestyle emporium will be erected where the top-end brands will have pop-up stores and even a special pamper room. As they enter the emporium, the MC’s, hosts, presenters and performers will each receive a yellow MTN suitcase to fill with the items that tickle their fancy. They’ll be able to browse around at leisure, sample goodies and select products - in between socialising and chilling in the cocktail lounge. And when they are ready for yet another spoil, they can get their nails done for the glamorous evening ahead of them.

The goodies on offer include Nixon headphones, Feiyue sneakers and Azzaro Decibel fragrance - which comes in a microphone-shaped bottle, and is endorsed by local rock outfit Crash Car Burn. Additional spoils include men’s and women’s JETSET watches and flashes from Acer. The cherry on the top has to be complimentary on-site treatments and beauty consultations by Soho beauty salon and Dr Robert Rey’s House of Rey. Part and parcel of House of Rey’s MTN SAMA offering is the personal attendance of Dr Reza Mia – who will be on hand for aesthetic consultations and chemical peels.

Each lucky recipient will also be taking home a stunning pair of Soviet denim jeans as well as Ray-Ban sunglasses, courtesy of Luxottica and a pair of 46664 shoes.

Dressing to impress – not to mention shopping – can be thirsty work. That’s why Häagen Dazs will be tempting palates with its decadent ice-cream flavours, and there will also be plenty of Bos organic iced tea, Douwe Egberts coffee and Fiji bottled water on offer.
