Africa’s favourite ensemble, Joyous Celebration and 2012 SA Idols Winner, Khaya Mthethwa, joins forces with international gospel musician Kirk Franklin on the 8th December 2013 at the Griquas (GWK) Rugby Park.
For only one day the multi-talented Kirk Franklin who has produced some astounding gospel hits such as “Bread of Life” will take the stage alongside the award-winning Joyous Celebration and lay out some brilliant gospel tunes that will have fans worshiping and praising at the top of their voices.
This once in a lifetime gospel concert which is part of the inaugural Diamond City Revival, hosted by Maverick State and the Northern Cape Provincial Government will also be graced by performances from one of SA’s most celebrated talent, Khaya Mthethwa performing with the Gospel Alive Choir from his new TV show. With 3 gospel giants in one stage, this will surely be 2013’s most acclaimed gospel event.
