The International Fashion Sale (IFS) is a South African engineered business seeking to enhance the fashion and textile industry in the country. It will be hosting a 3-day "Young & Unsigned Designers Programme".  IFS is known as a lifestyle fashion shopping experience catering for all women, men and children. Therefore based on its success stretching over 14 years of sound leadership in the fashion industry it promises a fresh new outlook, with new ideas that follows local as well as international fashion and lifestyle trends that foster the spirit of entrepreneurship and competitive advantage in the industry.

On the 26th to the 28th of July 2013, the event will take place at the Gallagher Convention Centre in Midrand where a number of young talented yet unsigned designers, will be given the opportunity to showcase and exhibit their collections. The IFS will offer a mentorship retail production and business management programme to the 50 lucky chosen designers. In order to be part of this amazing opportunity, the potential young & unsigned designers between the ages of 20 - 35 must apply for this programme by sending their brand's documentation/skeches to IFS, go through the interview process that is in measure with controlled quality checks administered by the IFS' new and strategic management; Lakusasa Exhibitions.
This year, through its sponsors, the IFS promises to deliver brands with a variety of clothing and accessories that speak to all seasons, with fresh, vibrant designers who not only understand their brands but themselves, the business hopes to impart the 50 lucky designers with skills to help them control and manage their businesses fully post the event.

Filled with glamour and lifestyle in a form of a well orchestrated fashion show, bars and VIP lounges with the best of South Africa's cream of the crop, the lucky designers will get the opportunity to get media interactions, have access to IFS's facilities during the event, get recognition from the various sponsors and exposure not only for themselves, but for their brands as well to branch in the industry.

NB) the annual shopping event attracts over 25 000 consumers each year.
