Beyoncé's 2014 Calendar [PHOTOS]

The first look at Beyoncé's official 2014 calendar is here!
The cover for the 32-year-old Grammy winner's new calendar has been posted on the singer's official site and you can bet it's fierce.
In the sexy photo, Jay Z's other half strikes a sultry pose while showing her midriff in a sparkly two-piece outfit with matching gloves and hat. Beyoncé looks red hot with her right arm on the top of her head and her long blond hair framing her face.

In a second black and white shot, Bey peeks out from behind a door while sticking out her bootylicious bum in skin-tight bottoms.

According to Bey's website, the calendar is here just in time for the holidays! "The new year is coming soon, it's time to get prepared with the first ever official Beyoncé calendar. Let Beyoncé help you schedule your day to day activities with her new 2014 calendar. Each month has a unique beautiful photo of Beyoncé and make a fantastic gift for family and friends."

The $15 (r148.34) calendar measures 12 by 12 inches and has 14 different shots of the "Love on Top" songstress.

CAN DO! to host free Summer event at Dorothy Nyembe Park

In celebration of Soweto's singer and queen of dance, Chomee's 27th birthday that took place on Sunday, 6 October, CAN DO! will host their first free Summer event from 10:00 to 17:00 at Dorothy Nyembe Park in Meadowlands, Soweto on Sunday, 13 October.

CAN DO!, Nampak Bevcan's consumer facing brand, will partner with top musicians and DJs to host a can-only day filled with summer sun and South Africa's freshest sounds.

Various performers including Euphonik, Glen Lewis, Chomee, Arthur Mafokate, CAN DO!’s New Creation and winners of the U CAN DO IT! reality talent search, The Maples will perform at this can-only event.

Guests are encouraged to fill their picnic baskets, bring their own beverages in cans and enjoy a day outdoors with family and friends.

"Because cans are safer, cooler and more environmentally friendly than other types of beverage packaging, we encourage people to make the greenest choice by choosing their beverages in cans, while at the same time supporting talented local performers," says Alexandra Bouwer, marketing manager for Nampak Bevcan’s CAN DO! brand.

Collect-a-Can, southern African can recovery company, will be collecting all empty cans after the event to be recycled.

"We believe that it is our responsibility to pro-actively minimise the impact of beverage cans and other metal packaging on the environment," says Bouwer. "Currently the recycling rate of all beverage cans recycled in South Africa is estimated at 72%, significantly more than any other form of beverage packaging in South Africa."

Entrance to the event is free and the first 5000 entrants will receive a free Arthur Mafokate CD.

Phresh Relationship Talk

Be you.
Nobody really wants a relationship with someone who doesn’t know themselves and isn’t comfortable within their own skin.  Get in touch with who you are at your core, and the build your life around it.

Be sincere, loving, respectful, trustworthy, humble and happy.
It’s hard to not be happy around people who honour these traits.  Sincerely be the person people want to be with.

Be forward focused.
Living in the past really does not get you anywhere, and it can make you miserable.  Live in the moment and focus on what you do want from your future.

Be independent.
Guys and girls like to have a partner in their life to complement it, not burden it.  Be the person that satisfies as many of your own needs as possible so that your partner is simply a friend to share your experiences with.

Be forgiving.
Everyone makes mistakes and the grass usually isn’t greener on the other side.  Get some perspective and realise that every relationship comes with challenges.  Carrying the negativity that comes with holding grudges is a sure fire way to create more problems in your relationship and feel miserable within yourself.

Be aware of your daily habits.
How you and your relationships evolve is dependent upon you and the choices you make.  Your daily habits, good and bad, are based on daily decisions you make which either enhance or damage your relationship.  Choose wisely.  The next tip is one such habit and it’s just a choice.

Be solution focused.
You will always encounter relationship problems; always looking for solutions puts you in an empowered emotional state and will help ensure you resolve issues rather than perpetuate your fears, concerns, anger, resentment, insecurities and health.  People either look at problems or look at solutions.  You know which one is most helpful.  Just pick the right one.

Be giving.
People bond with givers and people only stay in relationships with people they get something from, whether that’s laughter, emotional support, gestures of love, or something else.  That’s life.  If you’re not adding value to the people in your life, they may not be there forever.

Be a communicator.
Probably the single biggest reason for relationship breakdown, breakups and divorce, is lack of communication.  Over time, a lack of communication will completely unravel your relationship.  Make no mistake about it, communication is key.  Sometimes you have to be cruel to be kind, sometimes you have to remember the other person isn’t psychic, and sometimes you have to care enough to speak up, even when you would rather not.

Be a good memories creator.
Your perception of your relationship with yourself and others is based on the associations you have created.  Create good memories with your partner, and if you only have miserable ones at the forefront of your mind, then you better crack on and replace them with good ones.  As Maya Angelou once: “People may not always remember what you did or said but they will always remember how you made them feel.”

FAIRLADY Entries Best Of Beauty Awards

FAIRLADY’S quest for the most nourishing hand cream, the glossiest lipstick and the most intoxicating fragrance is on once again. The call for entries to FAIRLADY’s 2013 Best of Beauty Awards, to be presided over by a judging panel of beauty boffins and sensational celebrity judges – grooming guru Thulane Hadebe and local TV personality Jo-Ann Strauss – has been announced.

“Thulane and Jo-Ann will judge the Men’s and Fragrance Categories respectively. They add that extra sparkle of glamour that’s such a big part of beauty to the mix. Of course, since they’re so much in the public eye themselves, they also bring their own in-depth beauty and skin-care know-how to our prestigious panel,’ says FAIRLADY editor Suzy Brokensha.

Now in its third year, the Awards serve a valuable function to consumers, who face an ever increasing assortment of beauty products from which to choose, says Brokensha.  The call for entries appears in the April issue of FAIRLADY, with Hollywood actress Lucy Liu gracing the cover. All finalists in the Best of Beauty Awards receive extensive coverage both in FAIRLADY magazine and on www.fairlady.com, and winners are awarded the FAIRLADY Best of Beauty 2013 sticker, which can be used in retail, promotions and merchandising. The competition is open to retailers, brand managers, distributors and suppliers, and multiple products from one brand can be entered on one form.

The winners of the 2013 FAIRLADY Best of Beauty Awards will be announced in the November 2013 print edition of the magazine, on sale from 21 October. This year, once again, there will be a reader competition, with one lucky reader walking away with all the top products featured in the awards. Entries will be processed through the www.fairlady.com online Beauty hub (http://bestofbeauty.fairlady.com/).  The closing date for entries is 14 June 2013. World of fashion

World of Fashion
A model in modern trend.

Its modern day world and quiet frankly I am surprised about the way people take the concept "Fashion' for. It seems like those days were the world Fashion would be used only to describe women. Those days have passed now. People should learn that fashion applies to all and that males do have that special fashion trend.

I am inspired by our people, I mean if you look around, in my opinion the best designers are males. No offence to the ladies but us guys just slay with fashion. I was visiting this blog and let me say, my opinion about male fashion changed. I used to be one of those people who have a problem with male fashion but now I am a huge fan.

To be honest though, fashion back then was, in my word Horrible!! It seemed like people would open their closets and just pick anything to wear. To be honest, vintage fashion is now rocking because we have people who can, well go with the trend. It is nice to have your own fashion trend but sometimes it is so overrated, no offence. Trying to set your own trend is a great idea but you must have the feel.

Back to where I was, male fashionista's being dissed and stuff. Loving fashion (As a guy doesn't necessary mean you are gay) . We can all share the love of different things. Like our love for music, I believe everyone loves music. But that's just me.

And the fashion sense at the Metro Music Awards 12, Epic fail!! Not all though, some were truly dressed with style but as for others, they definitely need to change who Ever dresses them. I was deeply offended by their sense of fashion but all is well that ends well.

So to end up my world of fashion article, male fashion should be given the same form of exposure like ladies fashion.
