Jo-Ann Strauss, former Miss South Africa and renowned TV personality will be presenting the brand new celebrity beauty show, Glambition, starting on Monday, 8 April at 8.30PM.
The 13 episode talk-show will address the various facets of the beauty industry through the eyes of some of Mzansi’s finest ladies, mothers, sisters and women with glam-power across various industries. The mysteries of balancing the powerful blend of glamour and ambition will be unraveled.
The half hour long talk-show aims to keep viewers gripped to their screens with a weekly dose of inspirational celebrity guests, trendy fashion and beauty tips, plus a mix of lifestyle topics – all through the distinctive perspective of the poised Jo-Ann Strauss.
Topics will range from local power couples, cultural beauty to more controversial issues such as the dynamic black hair market, plastic surgery and posing nude.
“I am extremely excited that after two years of planning and preparation, my new TV show is finally coming to fruition. Being a producer is hard work, but also gives one a chance to tell other’s stories and create great television. The show will showcase strong, beautiful African women”, commented Jo-Ann Strauss.
